I had to stop badminton last night, with a pain in my heel.
Its hard to describe, it feels like I perhaps jarred the bone?
It doesn't feel muscular, and it only hurts when I put weight on it, and it feels inside the heel, not the outside, if that makes sense?
Anyone any idea what it might be? I sure haven't
Apart from that, I'm tired. I always find it hard to sleep after badminton, I think its the adreneline rush from the competition, and it takes a while to disappear.

hello
I found your LJ by way of the computertech community. Hope you don't mind the post. I'm thinking of trying out Linux as well, when my hubby gets a new computer and I acquire his old one. I had some heel pain, and it was Plantar Fasciitis. It's the ligament that connects the calf to the bottom of the foot. Keep an eye on the symptoms; it will only get worse if not treated. Whatever it is, hope you feel better!February 18 2004, 23:21:06 UTC 8 years ago
Re: hello
Hi. Certainly don't mind the post, especially helpful ones!I will certainly keep an eye on it, and will look it up when I get to work.
The Linux thing is a bit scary, and after my post, I really am not too far forward, there were so many conflicting suggestions, I have decided that I really do have to build a new machine for it, and not use one I already have, so I haven't got to start it yet. I have a PC upstairs I can use I think, but it needs a new hard disk and a CD, and I'm broke this month.
Keep in touch and I'll let you know how I get on and visa versa?

Re: hello
It will be a while before I venture into Linux, if at all. I watched my hubby play with Suse for a while, uninstalling and reinstalling, and all the fun of trying to get everything working. He had to give it up when he got a new video card that was too new to have Linux drivers.
